SOUNDINGS. 1980.
This is a typical performance work from this time. It sets up certain physical scenarios which are then exploited to produce tasks and rituals intended to carry an almost shamanistic tone.
As in many of these works, tasks are made deliberately difficult, in this case my moving backwards while blinded by the bandage, while attempting various quite precise tasks (attaching of the canisters, rolling on of the bandages etc etc.)
