WITHIN THE FRAME.
This a stereo bounce of an 8 channel work. The original is spatialised very simply however, and so loses relatively little in reduction.
It is an example of a 'set' text, very similar in my view to a traditional setting of a poem for, say, voice and piano.
The difference here is that the voice and accompaniment occur consecutively, rather than simultaneously.
The aim of the sonic material inhabiting the second half of the work is to reflect the ideas and tone of the semantic opening.
